Help me! public transportation from san diego to riverside!?

What is the cheapest and best way to get from san diego to riverside using public transportation? thanks !

You can't get to Riverside from San Diego solely using public transportation. You are either going to have to take a Greyhound or a train to Anaheim and then take public buses out to Riverside.

Greyhound or amtrack to anaheim or LA, and then the metroliner to riverside.

That's easy! Just take a Coaster commuter train between San Diego and Oceanside then an RTA (RIverside transit) bus #202 express to Riverside county. Once at the main stop in Riverside county (Temecula) you will then need to transfer to RTA #208 express into Downtown Riverside. The cost will only be $9 one way. $5 on the Coaster train +$2 one the #202 then $2 on the #208 Good Luck! Keep in mind, this trip is most easily completed on weekdays due to better connections.
