If a trait A exists in 10% of population of an asexually reproducing species and a trait B exists in 60% of the same population , which trait is likely to have arisen earlier?

  1. Neither. Natural selection would proffer trait B as it is further developed and that trait A is more likely a newer evolution. The truth is that in biology there have been and will always be anomaly's. This is the beauty of biology. The order and randomness of it.
