  1. play around with it. I've tried wide and I've tried what would be considered a narrow stance. It just personal preference. go with was feel comfortable

  2. Try this - jump into the air and land with your legs slightly bent in an "athletic stance". This is how far apart you will want your legs apart. This will normally be about the distance of your shoulders to start.

As far as angles, I would recommend +12 degrees and +3 degrees in the back. This is the easiest way to learn. If you really want to try a "duck" stance - keep the angles smaller than the pros and try a modified duck stance +9 degrees front and -6 degrees back.

    Good Luck

  3. best thing to do is do it the way you think would be comfy and then just stand in it. how do you feel? is it comfy? then take it to the hill. tweak it as you go so you get it just right. also, check your angles. i use to board with just my left foot angled but when i started mixing up goofy and regular i put them at 15-15 wich is also condsidered the duck footed stance.

  4. Lay the board on the floor and stand next to it with your feet how you ride and attach the bindings there and stand in them.  Take a screwdriver to the mountain so you can adjust it as need be.
