  1. u could be milk intolerant. try avoiding it and c. sugar is another culprit.

topical applications are not enough. go to a dermtalogists for some anti-biotics. if those dont work the doc might give u accutane or contracptive pills.

this works for me- every night i wash my face and liberally dust a prickly heat powder on my face. it kills bacteria and absorbs excess oil.

  2. A few tips and recommendations:

Rooibos tea has been known to help, along with certain other herbal teas. The republic of tea has a series called Be Well Teas, and they have one especially for skin health/acne. It's called Get Gorgeous, it's a blend of chamomile and rooibos among others. A few stores sell it, and its at therepublicoftea.com too. The antioxidants really help, and drinking apx. 3 cups a day is recommended.

Getting plenty of fiber (acts like a detox) also helps, but you need to keep up with it. You can take supplements and they also make fiber yogurts/cereals etc.

Stay away from foods and drinks high in sugar like soft drinks and candy, but you don't have to cut them out altogether, just take it easy. White bread is another culprit.

Vitamin C and E are good for the skin, but some people have adverse reactions.

Foods high in Omega-3 are also good for the skin. This includes fish and flax seeds/flax seed oil.

Edamame, or baby soy beans, would benefit you as well. They don't taste that bad, and you can eat them like peanuts or put them in salads and other dishes.

Keep hydrated and get plenty of sleep (7-8 hours).

    Edit:

Not all oils are bad for the skin. EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) is actually good for your skin. You can add it to your diet simply by using it in place of butter in certain dishes, like when you're sauteeing.

  3. examine foods high in iodine. Watch out for multi-vitamins (some contain iodine). Be aware of some junk foods such as potato chips, corn chips, etc. Keep your diet low in fat and sugar. Eating a properly balanced diet ensures that your body gets the proper nutrients and therefore promotes healthy skin. 4. No oily foods.  Pizza, fried foods, chips, etc. are out!!!!  Wash your face with warm water and face soap.  This opens the pores to clean them.  Then you need to rinse with cold water to close the pores.  Always use a clean towel to dry your face, and never put your dirty hands on it.
