= m(3m^2 +8) + 3(3m^2 + 8)

= (m+3) (3m^2 + 8)

Ok, to solve this you do what is called factoring by grouping.

So out of the first two terms, we can pull out a 3m^2.

This leaves 3m^2(3 + m) for the first part

Now with the last two terms, you can factor out an 8, leaving

8(m + 3)

SO we have 3m^2(m + 3) + 8(m+3)

So now we see that both parts have (m + 3) in them, so we can factor that out, leaving:

(m + 3)(3m^2 + 8)

To solve set each piece equal to zero and you get -3 and the square root of -8/3 which is imaginary
