My 10 year old male cat has been losing weight I think. We recently moved to a new state a month ago (he had his first plane ride, new house, etc). He got a check up the day we flew (June 25) and weighed 10.9lbs.

Recently when I've pet him I've noticed I can feel his spine along his back and I never could before (bumps on his spine is what I feel...bones?)

I'm making him an appt. Monday morning (this morning)...what could it be??? He's had his heartworm meds and his shots before we moved. I've noticed he isn't eating that much, could it be stress from the move still??

He's been acting like himself, very playful always running and jumping around like before.

Please help me!!!

  1. I imagine it would prbably just be the stress of a new surounding and most animals will get a little sick from plane rides, he should get over it within a few days, but just to be safe take him to the vet, but he'll be fine I promise.
