I love Cats.

My husband gifted me a kitten on our anniversary. I loved it!! I was so happy!! But I did not know that I have Allergy to cats!! On very first day I started sneezing and cough. That kitten is so cute, of course it was missing her mom, during this time my husband got attached to that kitten, he started playing with that kitten.

When He saw that I m not feeling well, He decided to leave the cat to its mom. We have left that kitten to its mom in its owner’s home.

We left that kitten. My husband is very dull now. So do I am. I am feeling like I hurt my self and my husband too!! Pls tell me what to I do??

  1. you can go to your doctor

ask if the shot or a type of medicen is ok for you

  2. I think you should just suck it up... I'm allergic to dogs, but I have three of them. Giant ones at that. It gets easier as you get used to it. I have no symptoms what so ever now. I think I've lost the allergy.

  3. I'm actually HIGHLY allergic to cats.  But if I take Allegra D twice a day I not only can live comfortably with my four cats I can also volunteer with a cat shelter and participate with my cats in cat shows where sometimes there's 200 or more cats in the room!

  5. Sounds far fetched but I worked with a man who's wife got weekly allergy shots so they could keep their kitty, how far are you willing to go? that's the question to you.. GOOD LUCK

  6. Allergies can also decrease as exposure to the pet goes on.  When a new cat enters my home, I am very allergic for a couple of weeks and then I get used to them.  Medication is possible, but what if you have kids that are allergic?  Most parents don't want to force small children to take pills or suffer asthma attacks.

Your husband can get his fix with cats by volunteering at a local shelter or rescue.  That way, you won't have to subject yourself to allergies or your kids in the future.
