Help me track someone down in USA?

I have found her number , but its been a few years and i can't remember her surname but know the first name. Help ???

If you found her phone number, phone her, or use a reverse phone directory to locate her name and address.

However, if her phone number is unlisted it won't show you.

try switchboard.com, and click on the search by phone tab (the link below in source will take you there directly). you can type in any US phone number and it will give you the name and address of the person registered on that line.

If you have her number the easiest route would be to call her!   Failing that there are a few things which can be done:

1.  If it's a landline number you can do a reverse telephone search.   These may help:

www.searchbug.com

www.whitepages.com

If the number you have is a cell/mobile then help is still at hand.  There are companies in the net able to do telephone checks on them and give you a full name and address to whom the phone is registered.   However, you will have to pay a fee for this I don't know anywhere it can be done for free.

"Searchbug" (URL above)  should help as it lists lots of companies who work in the tracing, location business.

You might try put her first name into the white pages phone directory.

Like this:  Helen * .  You may get a thousand Helens to look at. But if you see another name beside it, that may trigger you memory to get her last name. Good luck, Marty
