  1. Here's the brief overview:

You have to know many terms: Coplanar, Postulates, Theorems, etc.

You must know several Postulates, several Theorems

How to identify Lines, Angles, Rays

How to apply Algebra in forms of Geometry

    Using If-Then Statements

    Properties of Algebra

    Proving Theorems (Simple Proofs)

    Angles/Perpendicular Lines/Basic Transversals

    Parallel Lines

    Parallel Lines in Polygons

    Congruence in Shapes

    Isosceles Triangle Theorem

    Perpendicular Bisector

    Properties of Parallelograms

    Parallel Line Theorems

    Special Parallelograms

    Inequalities

    Inverses/Contrapositives

    Indirect Proofs

    SAS Inequality Theorem

    Ratio/Proportion

    Similar Polygons

    Pythagorean Theorem

    Tangents/Arcs

    Central Angles

    Chords

    Inscribed Angles

Here is the basic information. You may not learn all of it, but it's all there for your use.

  2. just follow this link:

    http://math.about.com/od/geometry/Geomet...

  3. they teach you most of it there

but its pretty much all formulas that you have to memorize

    like

    rectangle:

    A=lw

    P=s1+s2+s3+s4

surface area of prisms and stuff too.

but they teach it to you there, so dont worry.

  4. It's a lotta different shapes n stuff.

  5. Geometry is not hard at all. This course should include finding area, volume, and surface area of many shapes. Dealing with angle measures, finding the missing angle measure of any shape, probability, trigonometry to find missing sides of triangles, right triangles, circles, Pythagorean theorem, constructing parallel and perpendicular lines using a compass and protractor, etc.

What would help you in Geometry would be knowing your basic terms such as points, lines, perpendicular, right angles, supplementary and complementary angles, parallel, etc.

I will tell you that Geometry can be tricky; make sure you read carefully and make sure you always ask for help when needed. Geometry is fun and interesting if you are willing to learn it.
