Help me! what can i do!?

Question

school starts soon and my parents won't let me homeschool!!!!

i refuse to go bak to school i don't like it at all please help what can i do.

im 15 and live in texas!!!!

Get over it and go to school like the rest of us. That's probably the best thing to do. If you really want to home school, explain to your parents why you hate school so much.

Since there are no high school virtual public schools (online schools) in Texas and your parents refuse to homeschool you, you are out of luck - sorry.

Have you written a persuasive essay to convince them?  Do you, or your parents, have the money to pay for either private online schooling?  Do your parents want to teach you?  If the answer is no to any of those questions, then you're out of luck again.

Well, let's examine the situation. You want to homeschool. Your parents want you to go back to school. You have 3 options:

1.) Change your mind. As another answerer put it, go to school and make new friends and get over it.

2.) Change your parents' minds. Convince them that going back to school is a very bad idea. How you do this is up to you, but, depending on your parents' personalities, I doubt this option will work.

3.) You can do neither: that is to say, you can choose another option, such as run away from home (definitely NOT recommended), simply refuse to go to school (also not recommended), or some other option that you can think of.

If I were you, I would pick the first option. I went through this too, only I was a bit younger than you are. I didn't want to go to school, I hated school, I didn't like any of the people, etc. etc. etc. Just keep this in mind: you have three more years until you graduate. (I assume, if you graduate at age 18.) Three years is not very long in the big scheme of things. Just live through it, soldier on, make the best of it, and it'll be over before you know it.

If the first 2 answers are YES. Then make the best of it. Don't rebel. Be kind to your parents and responsible with your schoolwork and maybe they will change your mind next year. Find some outside interests so you don't have to think about it too much.
