Help me wid laptop cuz i hav no sound?

my mom waz online and accidentally deleted the sound in my computer do u guyz no how to download the sound back?

check your motherboard's manufacturer and you may download the sound driver from the macnufacturer's website.make sure u have the serial number of your motherboard.if no,you have to use the driver cd provided when u purchased your lap-top.hope this explaination helps..

Make sure your Sound Driver isn't disabled, it may have inadvertently disabled itself during shutdown:

Go to Device Manager (Start> RightClick My Computer> Properties> Hardware Tab> Device Manager) and right click on your sound driver and choose enable. If not, try updating the driver, that will effectively restore it to factory settings if there's an update available.

If you don't know the name of you Sound Driver, so to Start> Run> dxdiag. Now go to the Sound Tab and any sound hardware installed is listed.

If that still doesn't work, the driver may have been uninstalled. If so, go to your computer's manufacturer's website and go to the "Support" section. There should be a link for drivers. You will need to know your computer's model, but once you enter that it will give you and option to download any missing drivers. Just find the Sound Driver and install it.

could be that she just muted the volume. go into your control panel and click the sounds and audio devices icon.

then when the window opens, click on the audio tab. click on the volume button for your sound playback device and make sure the slide bar for the volume control is all the way up and the mute box is not ticked.

go to control panel, check sound and audio devices. uncheck the mute box.
