Help me with a 17th birthday party theme?

Question

It's a month away, so I'm really late on planning. I totally forgot it was coming up lol.

I don't have like, a group of friends. Pretty much none of my friends know each other. I'm really afraid some people will feel left out.

I'm thinking of telling the ones who would feel left out that they can bring a friend.

I have no clue what to do. I want it to be where everyone can be through out the whole house and outside (I'll have the game systems hooked up and bbq outside, anyone have other ideas of things to be set up?)

So I'm trying to think of a party theme that can go a long way with ideas to do at the party, where we can keep busy.

All I can think of is a celebrity costume party, or a boxer party (where you design your own boxers, best one wins type of thing).

Does anyone have any other ideas?

I lack on the creative side.

A guns and roses retro 80's party where you can dress up as cowboys or some s**y rose garnerd hottie. Prizes for best dressed and most creative costume. Also hand a mic around that every body has to share a little about themselves. You can also make small gift begs for people at the door that has things that all good party should have ... like rubbers and hmmm hairbands...and handcuffs lol. Ohhh and with the guns and roses theam give all the girls a rose and every body a watergun that doesn't look real. Then you can have the slip and slide rolling ... watermellon and other tasty treats and good music. Make sure there is no running in the house well your wet and make sure people bring bathing suits. This sounds like a fun party ... invite me. Along with the goody beg give each person a number and tell them to hold on to it so they can win a door prize...something small a pac of gum a pair of movie tickets ...pick out some stuff from the dollar store that is fun and funny. Maybe something like a sports party have the guys dress like athletes and girls dress like cheerleaders. Or a Hawaiian/luau party and do the best dressed.  But the celebrity party sound fun I would go. Or do famous couples like "brangela".But look it up online and put teenage party themes that will help and give you games to play

toga party!  or a hawaii stlye party! make your own tropical drinks non alchol darqui's let ur friend create there own!  drinking them in coconot or pinapples!

80s themes are always fun...get some 80s music...a dance floor....it will be a great place for your friends to meet each other and have fun! Everyone dresses up and does their hair and makeup.....its awesome!
