Okay, so I'm only 15 (sophmore) but next year i will already need to be looking at colleges and all that stuff. I know it's long but I'd love your help!

Design (of some kind):

Pro:

I'm really creative & have a strong visual mind's eye (can picture my ideas well, visualize things well) I'm naturally artistic, and have strong abilities/potential in graphic, or design of products.

Con: Although i enjoy doing graphic design, i feel like sitting in front of a computer all day would be unfufilling & i'm afraid something that was once enjoyable for me will turn into a hassle that will put a burden on my creativity.

genetics?

Pro: The human body/medicine/Genetics amazes me. It's something I'm fascinated by & learning about the brain. Conditions where the cause is unknown intrigue me (like schizophrena) I am analytical and like to get to the bottom of things.(I'm relentless) I would love to research & ultimately help others (through my research) suffering from diseases & disorder.

  1. take a few more science classes before you graduate. i get the feeling you can have a good future in it.if you have a strong yearning for graphics, think about maybe doing  illustrations for science texts!

take a personality test like the myers-brigg to assess your strengths. it will also give you careers using those strengths. your school counselor should have some.

you won't have a real good idea of what exact career you want until after college. so don't rush it and don't pick a major to narrow. broaden it a little.school is just telling your employer that you are trainable. they will train you on the job.

  2. the first thing that you need to do is to sit down and think in what you are really good at. after you find out just keep your objective in mind and work forward it. no one can tell you what you need to get a degree on. it is you and only you who has to make the right decision.

  3. If you get a bachelors in biology, you can be a pharmeceutical representative or (more interesting) you can sell medical equipment used for diagnostics. That field is always advancing, and you won't be in front of a computer.

    OR

you can major in bio technology engineering, or some other kind of engineering, if you can put up with all the math...

You may feel unknowledgable know but your only 15, trust me you'll get there

  4. Genetics :)
