Help me with little info on writing an essay?

what size of font and is it times new roman?

and dont i have to double space.

when you write an essay, most teachers will ask you to use times new roman, and to use a 12 point font. and yes usually have to double space. the font just makes it easier to read and the double spacing helps when making corrections.

google "mla format" trust me i took university english and the fist paragraph should be the intro and it should briefly state the 3 main ideas and the next three paragraphs are called the body and each point you have thats one paragraph and the last paragraph is the conclusion and in the conclusion you have to restate the 3 main points again and WRITE PROPER TENSE IS PRESENT DONT WRITE IN PAST TENSE !!!!!

You should use font 12 and double space.  Indent and keep your margins normal.  If your teacher is very old and almost blind and has not specified a font, bump it up to 13 or 14.  

New times roman is a nice regular font to use.  My essays were always too long (in pages), so I usually switched to arial narrow so I could fit more in fewer pages.  Good luck.

i hate times roman personally. verdana is better
