Help me with my 8th grade year?

okay iam going to the same school since 1st grade so now that iam going to 8th they decided to put uniforms and its a shirt with the school district name on it and khaki pants so my and some friends were saying that we should wear normal clothes the first day because they cant yell at you because its the first day and the first year of uniforms so my question is should i wear the uniform or go with whatever i want

Depends on whether you think its worth it or not, think back on your reason and see if you think it is worth it, just because you think your friends are gonna do it too doesn't mean they necessarily are gonna do it, and your school(if they see you in normal clothes instead of the uniform, which they most likely will) will probably call your parents and send you home for not coming in the uniform whether its the first day or not, they will think your gonna make a bad influence on the other kids and make them end up coming to school out of uniform, schools always wanna make something seem worse than it is, lol

wear the uniform.  8th grade is the year before high school and teachers start putting on the pressure and probably will not hesitate to give you and your friends a detention. or even a dean's detention depending on the school.  If you act this way is High school you are SO dead.

go with  whatever you want. its not like they are gonna know you did it on purpose.BUT dont buy a uniform,if the school is selling them.

i don't know if your school is strict or not but on the first day i'd wear regular cloths and then if they get mad then go with the dress code.

If you're supposed to wear the uniforms, wear it. If you wear whatever you want when you're not supposed to it'll make yourself look like your a jerk who's too "cool" for the rules.
