Help me with my PS3?

Question

When I try to load madden 09, it asks me to download the update, but then the screen just goes black. Also I can't download roster updates for MLB 08 the show, it just freezes. The other problem is the in-game XMB. I can get to it, but I can't do anything and I can't return to the game. Can someone help me, please? I appreciate it!

Yeah, I had the same problem with my PS3. I bought it brand NEW, then 2 days later this problem started. I had my warranty still on though, so I gave it back to the store and got a brand new one. So if your PS3 still has the warranty on it, then go and return it for a new one, because there is definetely something wrong with your PS3.

i would say to ring the playstation support service, because this sounds like the problem that people were experiencing after the recent 2.40 update.

if you look in the playstation 3's manual then there is a support number there.

well about the download update for madden try waiting like 60 seconds before you press the button to download it! it worked for me like that! for MLB i dont know, i dont have it, if your ps3 is acting up well, you'll have to wait for a new firmware update which i dont think one is coming soon! or you can use ps3 system restore under settings which will erase everything but will allow you to download the firmware update 2.41 again and might fix it!
