  1. Foil the first two

    (3x-2)(x+1) = 3x^2+x+2

Then take the third one and multiply it by the answer you got.

    3x^2+x+2(2x-5)

you have to take the (2x-5) times every element of 3x^2+x+2

    and you get

    6x^2+2x-4x-15x^2-5x+10

    comine and get

    -9x^2-7x+10

    factor from there

  2. easy: first make the multiplication of the two products (3x-2)(x+1) and the results multiply by the third product (2x-5); the results equal to zero so from there solve to x and that's all

  3. If two or more numbers multiply to be zero then one of them has to be zero.  So either 3x - 2 = 0; 3x = 2; x = 2/3

    or x + 1 = 0; x = -1

    or 2x - 5 = 0; 2x = 5; x = 5/2
