I'm really wanting to get into the on line karaoke. I borrowed my mom's mic and brought it home, plugged it in, went to the karaoke website, and it didn't work. I just figured the mic was old and dirty cause it had been packed away for some time. So, I went and got another one. No, I didn't buy the most expensive one, but still. I brought it home, plugged it in, went to the website and still nothing. It seems that the system is set up with Realtek HD Audio Output. The thing is, I have no clue what that is. And I have tried to find a way to change it, but it doesn't let me. Through Microsoft Word, you can go into "tools" and go to "speech" but...my version of Microsoft Word was a trial version and I don't want to buy the full set up. Please..any advice or opinions will be appreciated.

  1. well , i had the similar problem .in my case te mic was not functioning totaly .i think u must check ur mic setting in control panel ,go to sound and audio devices ,in that click voice then, in voice recording section test ur hard ware . if it dosent work then goto hardware and choose ur hard ware and click troubleshoot .the device propertis will tell u the status tht wether ur mic is working properly or not .i think it might solve ur problem

  2. You need to make sure you plugged the Mic into the correct plug-in on your computer.  You then need to go to your all programs/accessories/entertainment/sound - and make sure the mic is enabled.  Not in mute and set the gain/volume.  You should be in business after that.
