Help me with my toe touch?

okay so im going into 8th grade. last year i tryed out for poms at school but i didnt make it basically my toe touch sucked last year all the skinny girls made it and thats not me im not like really fat but i would really like to make it what are some things i can do to improve my toe touch and maybe loose a little weight will running help at all with my toe touch?

  1. try it on a trampoline. if you dont have one you can use your bed. lol!!  just practice your toe touch over and over again. remember to keep your chest up and bring your legs to your arms! pick a spot on the wall and just look at it the whole time thats what our coaches tell us. and one of the most important things... STRETCH!!! so you dont pull a muscle! it hurts!!!


  2. Practice makes perfect. Bend a lot when you are going to do your toe touch.

I had this problem when I was young too.  Get a chair and grab onto the back of it.  Then keep on jumping until you get your toe touch.  If not get someone that you could hang on to for support and practice there.  It would help to have your middle split somewhat down.  Running won't help unless you want to jump higher because lighter people can usually jump higher.  However, my bottom body is pretty heavy but I can do a toe touch no problem.
