Help me with this baby name that I don't like?

My sister wants to name her daughter....Angelina.

I'm not fond of that name.

BUT my sister likes it because of the whole "ANGEL" thing.

So can you help me find another name that has a different variation of the word Angel.

Not Angelica, please.

I actually like Angelina/Angeline. I'm not trying to mean or anything but it's her baby and decision so why not let her decide what she wants. For suggestion, how about Angel, Angela, Angeli....

I'm not found of "angie" names either.  Bad memories of Angie in high school.  Everyone I've ever met whose name was Angie something or another was a real mean *****.

If you sister really wants to name the child that, try to suggesst actual Angel names like Uriel or Michael, Raphael, anything really that ends in EL, el was a title back in the day.  It meant high and holy and generic better than me kinda' thing.

Angelina is a beautiful name. You should let your sister call her baby whatever SHE likes. Anjelica is a cute alternative she might like. But you don't - so, oh well. lol :-)

The only ones I can think of are Angela, Angel, and Angeline.  But you need to remember that it's not your baby and you really have no say in what your sister names *her* baby.  It is not your place to suggest different names unless your sister has asked you to.

Angelyn, Angelita, Angelintina, Angella, Angelrose, Angelquina, or why not Abigail, Deidre, Daphne, Christabelle, Princessa, Magdalane .... something to this direction maybe. Somehow, if' 'Angel' is there somewhere which has to be in the beginning...Angie will be the most common nick name. Can your sis live with that, you think? Angel may not be widely used. Just a suggestion, buddy. Hope it could lead to solving the matter.
