i wanna call this person in china and he gave me his phone number, he wrote 0565-****** (7 digits at the end) how would i call him in china, im at usa

You need to the country code, it will be in the front of your phone directory.  Or you can google long distant dialing codes.

Dial according to the directions.

try + 86565 .... (+ sign means international call - i think from the US you would need to press 01186565....
