i would really like to have a job being a support worker, i dont know how to go about taking the first step towards this goal. Im currently a medical secretary and im really bored of this job. What is the first thing i need to do?

Put yourself out there. When reading ads look for 'nvq2 training availiable'. Lots of the larger care companies will take you on without it so they can train you to suit their company. Do some reading on the client group you are intending working with and read up about CSCI and national minimum standards.

You might want to try some other sections(i think this is joke section not job)...

Anyway, for your question, you always have options; continue or leave. I will suggest leave and try something you really want to do...There is no point in doing something you are bored of...
