Help me write my speech to become school captain?

so, i wrote my speech too the teachers and at the moment, im a shoe in. If i do make it though, i need too write stuff too the kids of my year, why i should be there captain. what should i write about.?

First get a few friends who would want you to be captain.  Ask them to help you with the content of your speech.

Then choose one of them to proof read your speech because your English is appalling.

What are the issues you would be able to tackle as Captain that you cannot tackle now?  Do any of those issues really matter to the students?
