Help me yorkshire terrier?

im getting a yorkie and i want to know some very important things. can u help me please

Yorkies are very stubborn and little yappers- which can be translated to a good watch dog or a nuisance. They bark at everything and like another person pointed out they think they are Mastiffs which gets them killed a lot of times by larger breeds if not watched carefully.  They need constant grooming and often have anal gland problems and sensitive digestive systems.  They are great companions for the person they choose to own.  They are very temperamental and not good around young children. Do some research before you get one and be sure to check the bloodline so you don't end up with a medical nightmare.   Good luck.

Yes, they are very very needy. They crave lot's of attention, tend to bark a lot, like to be center of attention. I have a yorkie-poo and thank goodness he has more poodle in him than yorkie, Every Yorkie i've ever met was the same way, and even their owners say the same thing. So it's not just an outsider talkin about someones puppies. I also had a maltese who was extremely good, and cocka-poos are very good little dogs too. But if you want a yorkie goodluck, there very loud lol. I didn't want to discourage you, just wanted to be aware of it all before you picked the breed of your puppy.

They can get very loyal and possessive over one or two people. They are very funny because they think they are as big as a bull mastiff. I would get a book about them also.

I Have a yorkie and hes lovely but they are very active and will want to play nearly all day they can be hard to toilet train he or she will have a way to tell you it needs the loo so just look for the signs

Yorkies are really neat dogs to have. Most don't shed and are very playful. They are good watchdogs and mine will growl if someone is outside. Usually very smart. They can be easily trained to go on a pad. Some yorkies can be loud but mine isn't. Look at the personality of the dog before you get it.

i have a yorkie (Toby)  they can be a little yappy especially when they are young.  they need to go to loo quite a bit too.  they need lots of grooming! and they love squeakies toys!  

they do make lovely pets just need to train them :)
