  1. 2 stroke engines have to be rebuilt quite often.

It's a good practice to change the rings once a year to prevent damage to the cylinder.

The engine is probably smoking because the top end is worn (cylinder, piston & rings) - with low compression, the oil in the pre-mix won't fully burn.

  2. All 2 stroke exhaust at one time or another will need exhaust to be repacked go to local motorcycle store and tell them you need to repack 2 stroke exhaust. They sell kits for that. However what you are more than likley seeing is oil from gas sitting in tank you may have to run a few tanks of fuel until it clears out. but the muffler will come apart at end you may have to drill out rivets and pop it out. If that dont work you may have a sticking ring on piston. Good luck i sure hope it is just oil settling in tank.

  3. Don't use the synthetic oil on such a small engine. You don't need to clean the exhaust, all the c**p in there will burn off eventually. Your rings might be going bad, big trouble.
