when my boyfriends mom went to work this morning he just ran out. I have had him for a week and he is very scared of people but really comfortable around me (he was l*****g my nose and laying down next to me last night) he is not neutered yet. He also has a sister kitten that is in the house and they are always sleeping together and stuff so i cant imagine him leaving her behind forever. Will my kitten be able to find his way home?

  1. first, calm down and dont panic, it makes the situation worse. second, get a bowl of his favorite food outside and shake it and call his name. then make posters and post them all around. talk to your neighbors. tell them what happened and ask for their help. look under anything and everything. keep a watch on the food. hopefully he'll come home.

    good luck!

    ^-^

  2. It's hard to say if the kitten was with you long enough to now associate you as being "home."  If you're uncertain, I recommend you set a Have-A-Heart box trap near where the kitten escaped.  Put some canned tuna in it to lure him in.  Hopefully you'll catch him.  You can also put food outside, near where he escaped & hopefully he'll remember to come back there to eat.  Hopefully you'll see him again.

  3. Oh, Alert your neighbours immidiatly, I'm sure hes scared, maybe put some posters up around the area, he couldnt've gone far and i'm sure he misses you.  Have a look around later, and at around teatime go call his name, and put some food out, cats have very good smelling so he might be able to pick it out. Hope you get your little kitty back, Much love.~

    Hope i helped..

  4. omg, i hope so.

just keep looking for him. being so young and scared maybe he hasn't gone far.

i really, really hope you find him!

  5. There is a very good chance he will come back. But since he is a kitten and declawed...... sorry to say this since I also have  kitten....he's screwed. I mean not trying to scare you but a dog might get him or something. Cats are very smart they know how to find there way back home so he can come back.

  6. He may come back but i doubt it if its his first time out because he doesn't know his way. Seriously i wouldn't waste your time on here , i would go out and look for it.
