Help my Mum and Dad divorced and I hate it?

my mum and dad divorced when I was 10, my mum managed to keep the house in the divorce and most of my dads possesions. My dad left me and my sister to start a new life in Holland. 8 years on he is back because his Mum my Grandma has just passed away. He has said to me he had no choice and has placed most of the blame on my Mum for why he left, he says he left because she wanted everything he had and he was working 60 hours a week for £30 and he was close to being homeless. Should I believe him, does it sound genuine what he has told me or does it sound like a pack of lies?

Sounds like bullcorn. He's just drumming up some drama and trying to get his kids on the bandwagon.

sounds like lies. i am sure he could have found you before 8 years. you are 18 now and a grown barely but still a man. if he left you without contacting you for 8 years then he was not a good father. he may want a relationship now and he may have changed but if you want a relationship with him then go for it because people do change. good luck
