Help! my baby duckling.........?

Help! my baby duckling cant get out of the shell!!!! i allready helped it like an hour ago..... (a farm supply store told me to) should i help any more? (i can see the duckling inside the egg. it's so cute!)

No  don't mess with the baby this takes time and duckie will get the job done but on its own time. Its little body isn't ready yet but will be soon,If duckie is not threw with its umbilical cord you could kill the baby this needs to close on its own during this hatching process it needs to close properly  if its to weak then some thing is wrong So let duckie do all by its self BUT with a whole already in it to where you can see this is just a matter of time now and you may have a baby by morning

You should help them but depends.Did they poke a hole?Sometimes  the shell is to hard and they can't get out and this is one the mom helps them.Well Your the mom right now so if the are calling and struggling u should help them..I always helped my birds out when they needed help.Be gentle and don't hurt them...Hope everything goes fine
