Help my cat ate a weed!!?

Question

What kind of a weed is this http://flickr.com/photos/carrierox4ever13/2808457585/sizes/o/ ?? Is it poisonous to humans or pets if eaten?? We live in MI and it was pulled out my garden this morning. The reason I was wondering because we were outside and my cat was either eating it (as soon as I saw her I took it away from her) or smelling it I couldn't tell which. Could it harm her if she did eat it?? Please help!!

I have seen that weed before, and i can't remenber what it is, but I don't think it's anything serious. Besides, I heard that animals know better then to eat posinous things. That if an animal won't eat you shouldn't. Birds avoid certain berries just because they know, because of taste or smell.

no it shouldn't do anthing to your cat... useually they eat grass when their stomachs are upset.... and your cat could hav mistaken it

It looks like a small rhubarb plant to me. But don't quote me on it. The rhubarb leaves are poisonous to cats. But like I said, I can't tell for sure.
