Help my computer has a virus/worm. How can I fix it?

Question

These are the list of damage that caused by the virus:

1. All the icons in the start menu becomes a folder.

2. When I checked the icons in the computer. All of them has .exe on it instead of a folder.

3. when I click a folder, it opens to a new window and sometimes it closes immediately.

4. when I open an internet explorer, A p**n site redtube shows up. And noticed on the title bar that instead of internet explorer, it becomes a huelar browser.

5. I can't play games, install.

I tried to transfer my files to the other computer. But the other computer caught this virus too. And the other computer starts to hang or freeze.

What of a virus it is? where does it comes from? and how can I fix it?

if it spyware u can download superantispyware.com its free or u can try freewarefiles.com there are many free antivirus and other programs there as well avg antivirus is okay and free u will have to test them n c which one u like best good luck

I have seen about 3 of thees infections come into the shop I work at within the past week. It is a pain in the *** to get rid of, so consider using an external drive to backup your data and reinstalling your OS. If thats not an option, try running a series of scans in this order. 1) MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, 2) Spybot S&D, 3)Pest Patrol, 4) AdawareSE or 2008 (not 2007). 5) Use Easycleaner to clean your registry. This will not get it 100% clean, but it is the best option you have using all free software.

Go to www.avast.com and download the antivirus personal edition that is for free.  Is a really good antivirus and you can do a boot time scan.

Go to google and type in avg free download trial it will remove all viruses and it can scan anything and everything to check for viruses also it can tell u if a site is harmful to ur computer and other things and it will delete the viruses.
