  1. More than likely it's skin.  I'm not sure how to handle it.  Have her rinse out with listerine and salt water.  Maybe the salt will help the clotting and shrink the skin a little?  I know it will soothe the pain.

  2. Is it skin of the gum? See if you can tug on it with tweezers-but if it causes too much stress on your daughter-get her to a dentist! Good Luck!

  3. My guess, its the gums. if its pink, i bet. if it is a off-white color, it may be plaque that was built up on her tooth and gum. when the tooth fell out, the plaque stayed. If its her gums, i suggest going to a dentist or clipping it off with medical scissors. My best guess is that tweezers would hurt a lot more.

    My guess:

If its plaque, have her brush her teeth there

If its her gums, i suggest either brushing there or clipping it.

I'm no dentist though, so your best guess is to see a dentist.

  4. It's probably just part of the root, and will come out with a bit of a tug, although there may be a bit of bleeding.

btw, use a dark colored towel for the blood and your little one won't really be able to see the blood and won't freak out!
