  1. Don't get plastic surgery just to become a model. If you have your heart set on being a model ask around and see what everyone in the industries thinks and they can give you tips. Good luck!

  2. Same here....But the model industry isn't a very nice thing to get into apparently, cos they treat you like ****.

  3. I don't see why this is in the mythology section unless you have snakes growing out if your head but....

If ONE or TWO modeling agents told you that, just keeping trying until you will find an agent who will represent you.

If you really don't have the face for modeling, oh well, move on. Modeling is a short term business anyway. One day you're the IT girl and the next day you're either too fat or too old and no one wants to talk to you.

I'm sure there's a path for you somewhere in life, that will be far more prosperous than modeling.

  4. What makes you think you don't have the face? Are you deformed?

    Try a different modelling agency.

I wouldn't take plastic surgery beyond a nose job and braces to correct teeth.

Almost all young women are quite pretty if they have the body to match, and besides many modelling agencies explicitly look for women with unique or unusual looks.

Victoria's Secret models tend to be middle-of-the-road generic barbie girls. Go for something with a little more originality.

  5. Wrong category...

Not every model really looks the way they do on TV and magazines. The body is more important. So if you have the model body that you say you have, you shouldn't have any problems.

They airbrush pretty much every part of the picture anyway. Learn how to do proper makeup and hair.

I wouldn't do something costly and serious like plastic surgery. And there are a lot of great people that aren't models.

  6. Well I'm not sure your age but if you are younger I'm sure you can find something else that you want to do. It will take time but something will perk your interests. As for plastic surgery that is completely your choice. In my opinion, plastic surgery looks fake most of the time and not appealing. Try to find beauty in yourself. Work with your good features and try to conceal your imperfections as best as you can. Most of the models are air brushed and if you have a perfect model body in sure something can be done by the modeling agency. Lastly, experiment with makeup and hairstyles. Make yourself work.

  7. Surely you girls don't think that those models faces look like that when they wake up in the morning do u? Get real. They don't

IF you want to go into some field then do your homework. In this case learn make up and hair and skin care.

Seldom does anyone just walk into a role such as super model by just wishing.

  8. Models don't have "model faces", either! Go have your make up professionally applied and learn how to do it yourself. Confidence, poise, and movement will get you much farther than a "model face".
