Help my fish are sick and dying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

i have already had 3 bala sharks die and now my neons are dying. the sharks had small little white specs on them and they died, my neons are losing color and have white specs on them. i have 2 angel fish who seem fine and a catfish thing that has white specs all over him..

somebody help!!!!!???

  1. It's ich and you can get medicine for it at any pet store, but you need to treat this ASAP because it can kill fish very fast.  You also need to frequently and very well, this will help.  We had a beta that had this and we gave him the medicine and he is all better now:)  Also if you can isolate the sick fish, this can help also from spreading the illness.


  2. Its probably the water in the tank. The same thing happened to my fish. Use purified water with no chemicals in it.

    Follow-up: fish tank chemicals are OK - I'm just talking not using tap water, etc.

  4. It's ick.  You'll have to act fast if you want to save them, and you'll need to buy ick medicine.

  5. It's most likely Ick. You can pick some medicine up at the aquarium store and it'll clear it right up.

  6. sounds like ick...but I'm no expert. They do make a treatment for the water.

  7. They have a fungal infection called ICK. Go to the pet store and by a bottle of ICK. It is cheap and bluish/purplish in color. Follow the directions, in drops, for the size tank you have. This will clear up the ICK in a few days. I had Black Mollis and catfish my whole life. They always got this. They'll be better in 3-4 days.

  8. ummm.... i think you might want to change there food. or there water system. keep up the effort and dont give up on them!

  9. clean the water often. get some special water conditioner you can get at petsmart or somewhere. they even have food to feed the fish that are sick. also ask a petsmart person or someone at the fish department and see what they say.
