Help my game won't work!?

I have the game sims 2 on my computer and then i bought the expansion pack sims 2 pets but it won't work have any ideas?

that happend to me

if you have downloaded it go to

windows/start>programs>eagames>sims 2 pets

for now on do that to start that, also im not sure if it will work for you but it worked for me infact the same game sims2 pets

did the install worked or did it fail

what kind of computer do you  have what are the specifications  ?
