Help! my gauge broke and i dont have another one?

my gauges are made of glass and one of them broke!!! i can only buy a new one tomorrow afternoon and i dont want my ears stretching back to small hole. how can i keep them open??? (I'm a sie 00)

use a pencil and wrap tape around it until it matches up to the same g as the other one.

and i would like to correct you: "gauge" is the actual measurement of the piercing, like 00g or 1"g or 7/16"... and so on. the correct word for the jewelry you wear inside your holes is usually called a plug or plugs. and the verb is not "gauging" its stretching.
