  1. Nature's Perfect Remedy for Hemorrhoids has a good reputation for customer satisfaction. NPR contains horse chestnut which has anti-inflammatory qualities and it is available over the counter.

  2. I have suffered with piles in the past and have found a combination of things help. First i would recommend a product called REGUCOL from Holland and Barrett. You mix 1 or 2 tablespoons in a drink of your choice twice a day. It is not the most pleasant thing to have but i have found it a lot more palatable in a strong flavoured juice . I use apple and blackberry cordial. It really will help within a few days. Also make sure she drinks lots and lots of water as this helps to soften the stools and a high fibre diet such as plenty of fruit and veg, wholemeal bread and bran. One last thing which you may find strange but it works is apply OLIVE OIL to the area which shrinks them. It can be a bit messy so the best way is to apply to a tissue ,place this on the area and then place a plastic bag over the tissue such as a little food bag and then put some panties on that you dond mind geting ruined. This trick really works.Dont use vegatable oil ,it has to be olive oil.It is also possible which i had, is to have them opperated on which they do quite quickly and you do not have to stay in hospital. This does not stop them comming back but all the above suggestions will help if she does have surgery, and they can be controlled so if she does not get much luck from her doctor tell her to keep on at him as there is a little operation that will help. It is not painfull just a bit embarrasing but that is a small price to pay.

  3. Oh no your poor gf! Use the cream that the doc gave & reapply after she has been to the loo. Prevention is better than cure, switch to brown bread if you haven't already and eat lots of fibre rich food, bran flakes etc. this helps you stop getting constipation which makes you strain which causes hemorrhoids.

    Good luck getting them sorted!

  4. Give her a rubber ring to sit on.. Dare I say it?.. No anal for a while..

  5. From experience piles or hemorrhoids what ever you want to call them are very painful things, a change of diet will be the first step as to keep them at bay, secondly i used a cream from the chemist called anusol with hydrocortisone, this works fantastic because the hydro helps with the pain, warm baths also help, you haven't said which type of piles she has, this will help because there are different degrees of piles as too what treatment she will need. First degree piles are swellings on the inside lining of the back passage, they bleed but cant be seen from outside the a**s, second degree piles are larger and stick out from the a**s when you go to the toilet but pop back in on their own afterwards, third degree piles are similar but hang out from the a**s and only return inside when pushed back in, fourth degree piles perminatly hang down and can not be pushed back inside, depending on the severity of the piles depends on the treatment, hope this has helped you understand which type she has and she feels better soon.

  6. i hope she knows that your advertising the fact shes got piles , poor girl . a rubber ring would be useful, also fibre in her diet would stop her from straining when she goes to the loo, plus a good cream from the doctors she will be back to normal in no time

  7. Go to another docor - they can give you more than cream.

  8. Take your girlfriend to a doctor and learn to spell.

  9. use preparation h , try putting them in the fridge before you use it, you will feel much better and it will relieve you almost instantly

  10. Hemorrhoid's can be a pain in the BUM ! ! ! ,

Seriously though "Preparation H" is  a very good product to use for this kind of thing.

  11. haha, well first of all dont make her  feel bad about them because they are very common. Here's what they are going to give her if she goes....

    Hemmeroid cream (or gel)

    Suppositories

    and Hemmoroid wipes

just buy them for her. You'll find them all in the same section, she'll thank you.

To avoid them, tell her to drink alot more water and fiber (i.e, broccoli, fiber cereal, spinach...) you get them because its an irratated nerve that is being pushed against (constipation).
