  1. My Sister in laws are dominican also and they had the same problem when they were younger. I suggest that you invest in a good flat iron, preferably a gold n hot. Straight hair is easier to maintain. or maybe you could get extensions sewed in. But you can buy a nice leave in conditioner made by motions(they have the best hair products) And if you want the curly look, first wet your hair and then while it is wet add some clear gel or some mouse so when it dries it will still be curly.

But here are the links to the hair cake products.

Hope i helped and good luck at school:)

  2. My hair is always like this! If I dont straighten it or pull it back, I use pantene curl effect or something like that. Its the only thing that works for me cuz my hair gets thick. Look up pantene products.

  6. there are some shampoos and conditioners made for curly hair you could try those.

it would be a hassel but just straighten it everyday, or brush it alot!

  7. My is hair like that too but I got it shorter and it was better, but before that I used to use a hair hair iron. I've tried products but they don't work to well. You could always have in in a ponytail I guess.

  8. ZeroFrizz Corrective Hair Serum. You can find it at Wal Mart. Just run a dime-nickel sized amount through your hair.

  9. i have the same problem with my hair, go to you hair stylist and tell her to look at the texture of you hair and to recomend ways to style it. if you put mousse in your hair when its wet and then spritz some hairspray all over. it stays curly. try to find a hair spray that isnt going to make ur hair stiff, your choice of course. avoid blow dryers they make ur hair frizzier.

  10. try scrunching your hair! it will be curly but it will look kinda wet and curly. it won't be frizzy and it looks cute. just take some mousse in your hands and take a fistful of your hair and scrunch it between your fingers. do it all over your head. google it or youtube it if you don't get what i'm saying!
