Help! my husband needs a schengen visa!!!?

my husband holds a philippine passport but i am a british citizen. he already has an appointment to apply at the portugese embassy on the 9th of october. but we need the visa by the 14th (which is a sunday). does anyone know whether they can give out visas that quickly? thanks.

Where do you live and where are you going?

You need a schengen visa to enter the shengen states (most of Europe but not not UK. You must apply to the country of first entry ie if you are going to Germany but entering through France you must apply to the french Embassy. They should give you one the same day if you apply in person with exactly what they ask for... Fee in cash return tickets etc. good luck.
