  1. This site will surely help you.. it has articles that will be best for your inquiries...

  2. she's making you plan her baby shower?  that's asking too much of a 13 year old.  maybe she just wants your input.  do you have an aunt or does your mom have a best friend who could help you?  if you're really on your own, i'd say go to the party store and buy some decorations like banners and cups and plates with baby themes, get some flowers and stuff.  make some easy hor d'vours (or however it's spelled).  search google for some ideas.   get some invitations, or just call people and tell them about the party.  if you do a search for baby shower games i'm sure you'll find lots of ideas.  probably something about baby names and guessing the s*x, although you already know.  make some cute party favors, something with potpourri or something.  recruit some friends.  it could be fun.

  3. Ask your mom what theme is she doing the nursery, and go from there.  Like if she is doing Winnie the pooh, you can get Winnie the pooh plates, cups, decorations, etc... Or I know for my shower - my friend went to walmart, and they had baby showers in a kit thing(it had all the decorations in the bag).  You also need a cake, food(just finger foods), and a few games.  Here are my suggestions ... the bottle game(fill 4oz bottles with juice, and do 3 people at a time - whoever drinks the fastest wins), fill a 9oz bottle with m&ms(count them before putting them in) and whoever gets the closes to the # wins(good for door prize), and you can go to Walmart, and they have a baby shower section - for decorations, game ideas, etc...  all at a really good price.  Just send out the invites, and your good to go.

  4. its a birthday party for a baby that isnt born yet... think about it like that and ull be ok... just remember to have enough food lol

  5. thats wierd...why is she "making" her 13 yr old daughter plan her baby shower?? doesnt she have friends or family in her own age group that can do this for her?? good luck

  6. I helped my mum plan her best friend's baby shower when I was 10 and I found it lots of fun. What you can do is have blue decorations. Instead of a cake why not have individual cupcakes and ice them with blue icing.

For a game you could play the memory game and have a baby bag and put things which babies need including rattle, nappies, rusks, etc. show them to the guests then they have to recall what was in the bag.

You should tie it into an afternoon tea style thing.
