  1. there are so many things to look at when it comes to acceleration problems, for a start have a look into some of its details to check everything in proper place, you could be rigth with hoses and its common on kawasaki air intake hoses that even starts from the front end of the bike. if everything is normal then you need to bring your bike for service.

  2. Check the exhaust port & the silencer. They are probably clogged up. It happens often to 2 stroke engine & less often to 4 stroke engine unless the 4 stroke engine is burning a lot of engine oil.

    Good luck.

  3. Look at the spark plugs and also make sure all the wires are connected well.  I know a lot of Ninja riders that reset every electrical connector they can find when they get their new bike.

  4. change the spark plugs

  5. CHeck to make sure the petcock isn't partially blocked... pull it out, it should have a tube with a screen on it...sometimes those tubes come out and anything in the tank goes right to the petcock and clogs it.

If that is ok, change the plugs because you may have one fouled out... check/change the air filter, and run some fuel system cleaner through the bike.

    Good luck!!
