  1. Your rabbit is normal

    plus cute

I have a lovely rabbit too names Martha

  2. Mmmm, he looks like a lionhead, and mine looks nothing like that.

I really have no idea, but maybe take him to a vet.

  3. Hi what a nice rabbit I think your rabbit is just shedding it's winter coat, the reason i think you see the bald or thin bits because the new coat is just started to grow, BUT if the skin is completely bald in bits, take t it to the vet that might mean there is a skin infection or mites  if your rabbit is forever scratching pulling the new fur out that's what it might be, Incidentally if your rabbit is allowed on grass it could be grass mites they are very tiny but can be seen and are a slight pinkish colour, look up grass mites and see for your self also you can get them as well if you lie about the lawn.you will be itching as well and they will drive you daft.          ,By the way is you camera clock out of date or have you just not reset it yet 22/06/2004 ?????? Don't worry I have the same problem when changing batteries.

All the best to you and bunny

  4. Don't worry.

Your rabbit is in mid moult. This means he is getting rid of his winter coat and the coat underneath is his summer coat!

This happens naturally but to speed up the process you can brush your rabbit everyday.

  5. I had a Black Netherland Dwarf Rabbit some years ago & when she moulted she looked just like this ! I suggest that you get a good book on the care of Pet Rabbits from a Pet Shop / Pet Store e.g Pets at Home, your local Library or good Bookshop / Bookstore ! Always remember that you can seek the advice of your Veterinary Surgeon over any animal related issues concerning your Rabbit ! Good Luck !

  6. i dont know....... but if you can see no evidence of fur mites, any scabbing or bleeding, and your bunny seems ok with you touching her, then i wouldn't worry. if any of the above symptoms do occur, take her to the vet.. x*x

  7. Ohh dang! I have never seen that before. I feel stupid now. Maybe he is going to be a shorter haired? I have no idea, but I really hope hes okay!

  8. Hey,

My rabbit looks just like this, she moults in a line down her back.

You only need to get worried if you notice completely bald patches. Looks like in your photo it's just patches of shorter hair which is quite normal.

If you do notice completely bald patches speak to your vet, otherwise I'd say you've got a pretty normal rabbit.
