Help! my room mate snores!!!?

Question

I have never once been able to fall asleep when someone is snoring in the room and i just found out that my room mate for college snores. I have two weeks before i go to college. what should i do to prepare myself for it. i'm such a light sleeper and have a hard time falling asleep anyway. 10 points for a good idea!

EAR PLUGS!!! or stick a peg on there nose

Take the time to ask them if they know whether or not they KNOW that they snore. It can be brought up delicately and tactfully.

Your answer to this may be just making them aware of the problem. You can try the ear plugs for personal use, but your roommate may try the breathe right strips. They may have undiagnosed sleep apnea or another medical condition and require treatment to help them with their snoring.  

I had a boyfriend that snored like a freight train. I managed to get him into a sleep apnea clinic and that helped him immensely. Fortunately I can fall asleep through almost anything.

ask her if she could use breathrite strips also invest in earplugs. I snore and my fiance got use to it. She hates when i snore but its getting better. The strips help

Get some good earplugs. Not the foam kind though because they do not work well. Sorry you got stuck with a roommate who snores.
