  1. i know i am not a mom but i am a dad. it sounds like you need to tell your son that a DR is a DR and the fact that this one is a female is nothing to worry or be embaresd about.

  2. Did he get kicked there?  That can cause a pain that takes from what i understand days to get rid of.  Also if he is hitting puberty that can cause t******e pain (according to my exhusband).  My son is 5 and had a UTI and was afraid to tell me his p***s was hurting but he did eventually tell me and the Dr but he was embaressed because he has a female pediatrician too and i know i hate talking to male Dr's about female problems so I feel for males talking to female Dr's but really he needs to see the Dr just to make sure things are fine.  I know my exhusband got kicked really hard in the testicles when he was about 10 years old by his little sister and the Dr had him put an ice bag on them for awhile several times a day to help with the pain and take ibprophen but he said it took about 3 or 4 days to get the pain to stop.

  3. its possible he has a torsion, where one of his testes has twisted around in the s*****m. it hurts like h**l and can cause  damage if not fixed quickly. the dr should be able to manipulate it back to the right position, in some cases surgery is required.

  4. Why do you have no male doctors that he can see?    Is your health insurance that restrictive or do you live in a tiny town that has hardly no doctors at all?

Did the clinic tell you that you must be in the room?   I have 2 teenagers who have taken sports physicals for school sports.    That would include a hernia check which they're not too comfortable with.   I always outside the room and they're fine with that.     Now your son is a little younger.    Maybe you can stand just outside the door.   Would that be alright?

  5. ask to have a maal exmine just say he is uncomfterbal with a female

  6. he deffintaly should see a doctor and i would request a male to help him be little more comfortable it could just be somethings going on with puberty but if he hurt it in some way then that could be bad at 11 i think he might be old enough to be alone in the room and you wait in the waiting room its worht a shot if not the turn your back so he can keep some pride

  7. he needs to see the doc as it may be a twisted t******e which is serious. Ask for a towel to be placed over his waist to give him some privacy
