Help!!!! need ideas on what to do with 3 difficult kids!?

I babysit a set of twins of opposite sexes going into second grade and an older girl going inito fifth. one of the twins doesnt want to do anything if it was suggested by anyone but him or me. both twins hated there older sister until i sat down and talked to all of them privatley, they got a little nicer, but i have nothing to do with them anymore!! I say no more tv, no more computer because they get really nasty, but they dont want to go outside or even in the pool and one of them hates arts and crafts but the otehr two like it. they hate cookieng, and they get bored with things very easily. please help. oh, and im only fifteen so i cant drive them anywhere

I would definitely ask the parents what type of activities either the kids enjoy or what they (the parents) expect them to be doing.  Speak to them about how they are not responding to your ideas (just to let them know you have been trying) and ask for help.  Some type of schedule may help:  1 hour a day computer or tv   1/2 hour for crafts/painting  1/2 hour for games, etc.  

    Good luck and it is commendable that you care.


  2. This is a lot of pressure for a 15 year old. Have you talked to their parents as to what they do to entertain them.

    I think I would set down the rules. You will be doings arts and crafts and then afterwards, we can do something, as a group, that you would like to do.

    As for going outside, if the weather is good, go. You are in charge. They might whinge and moan, but really enjoy it when they get there.
