  1. If I were you I would go out & soak up the culture of both countries.  I don't know where you are from, but if I was going on holiday I wouldn't want to spend most of my itme in clubs or gaming café's.

Mind you, people do go on holiday for different reasons.

Enjoy yourself when you are here.

  2. I spent a week in Ireland last year and have to say that the pubs in every town were a wonderful source of entertainment.  The people everywhere are wonderful and incredibly friendly.  As soon as someone hears your accent you will be immersed in a conversation about where you are from, where you are visiting while in Ireland, where you plan to go, and then the conversation will go anywhere (not just in the pubs).  I stuck to the small towns and the age group in the pubs spanned 20's to 80'+.  Obviously the historic sites spanning the millennium were incredible.   I can't wait to go back and see more.

  3. absorb the pub atmosphere! really soak it up because its so much different over there. look at all of the monuments. get a tourism book. theres castles and junk. my boyfriend is from ireland...he knows all about it.

  4. SOOOOOOOOOO much to see & do. Thre Republic of Ireland is cheaper though due to the Euro vs the pound.
