Question:

Help needed!?

Hi, I got my driving permit when I was 15 years old (in January of 2006) and took my driving test at my driving school right after completing my hours, and passed it. At 16 I went to the dps to get my license but had some difficulties because my name is incorrect on my SSC. It took me about two years to fix this problem since it was a long process and now my driving permit is expired. I have received a new SSC and plan on going back to the DPS to get my license. What I need to know is, are they going to make me take the written test over again for my driving permit since I am only 17 now? And also are they going to make me take the driving test over again even though I already took it when I got my permit and still have the certificate saying that I passed and that I am qualified for a drivers license? I just want to know what to expect because I don't want to show up at the DPS and end up having to retake any tests. Or would I just have to pay a fee and be able to renew my permit?
