Help needed to celebrate dad's 60 b'day?

hi ppl, i am tryin to handle my dad's 60th bday party all by myself. the crowd is gonna be mature n intellectual. plz give me unique ideas to make the party fun n interesting. ur help wil be strongly appreciated.

Make it family and friends at home, all you need is a cake, some snacks (preferably alot), make sure you've got alot of snacks your dad would like, when he comes in do the little SURPRISE thing.

Have a little disco ball with your dad's favorite CD playing.
