Help! new home theater system problems!!!

i just bought two MTS-2605 speaker towers for my TV.(millennium theater system is the provider) however once i opened them i realized there were no AV audio cables input or output or cables at all! i just had a black and red clip things in the back. i was wondering if there is such a way to connect the towers to my samsung TV which has the audio cable input in the back and if not what do i have to buy? please help!

  1. You'll need either a) a receiver or b) a preamplifier and amplifier.


  2. You cannot hook up speakers directly to the tv. You need something to power the speakers; a receiver being the most appropriate . The receiver would be hooked up to the tv and the speakers to the receiver.

  3. You need to buy the home theatre system to go with it. You can probably get this from your local Lowes or Wal Mart parking lot. I was at Lowes today and a man had 2 surrond sound with the DVD player and the MTS 2605 towers for $1000 for the surround sound and towers. He gve me a magazine which had it priced for about $4000 for the whole set. I googled these and it seems common for this brand and model numbers to be sold in parking lots. I think it was a fraud though.
