Help on Joker's scars?

Question

How do I make them? And I have his voice down, clothes, eye makeup and face, just not the scars?

And tell me were to get the stuff you recommend, and how much does it cost?

I remember a guide on deviantart where you basically take a bit of fake skin and and spread it out really thin and uneven to get a scar shape.  Then you put it on and pray it sticks.

I saw a kit online the other day that included the face makeup and prosthetic lips.  I can't remember which site it was on but I'm sure a simple search for Halloween costumes  would yield a store where you can order them online.  If you don't want to get that I suggest you use a product called Woochie.  Best FX makeup and prosthetics you can get.  Some of there scar or wounds coupled with a little bit of liquid latex will do the job

or just use a deeper color for where the scars on and shade it
