  1. 1. Yes, it's best to flip over to prevent pressure point.

    2. Yes, tanning lotion will help you achieve a dark, even tan faster then if you were to not use any tanning lotion so I'd suggest for you to purchase some. They will usually have a variety of options at your tanning salon and you can ask an employee which lotion is best to start out with.

    3. As for how many visits, it all depends on how fast your skin tends to tan and how often you'll be going. Seeing as you mentioned your fairly pale, you'll probably have to start out slow to prevent your skin from burning. Your first tanning session should be only around 3 or 4 minutes and each time you go in, go up by a minute or two. This will help you gradually build up a tan- you must start out slow and work your way up! The employees should explain all of this to you though. I hope I've helped.

  2. Unless you want to end up looking like an old leather handbag then i'd avoid tanning beds altogether, you are a high risk of getting skin cancer, why not use a tanning lotion or go for a st tropez then in the summer lay out in the sun for a couple of hours every few days using a high factor lotion , using sun beds all year round will do alot of damage. I HATE TO NAG BUT ITS A FACT !!

  3. 1- No, the uva - uvb rays are on the top and bottom of the bed so u can relax without havingto turn around.  If you are doing a spray tan, you would have to turn around.

2- yes, use a tanning cream sold in the tanning salon.  This will help increase the color in you tanning session along with keeping your skin moisturized allowing u to get more color and longer lasting color.

3 - start off slow in a low level 1 (6min) and do that twice a week. Then once u have a base, add more mins in the bed until you reach your ideal color.  I'd say it will take a couple weeks.

don't go in too long the first couple times b/c u dont want to burn!

  4. yes flip over to prevent pressure point. buy tanning lotion to help with a base tan (often called step one tanning lotion) and it depends on the bed your using, how long you go, how often and your skin tone.

  5. you don't need to flip over in a tanning bed because you are being showered with UV radiation from both top and bottom. i wouldn't recommend putting tanning lotions on before going because you might get splotchy skin or a really really dark tan that looks fake.

i would go once, take a few days off to see how you like it, then go again if you want to become darker.

  6. Be careful of skin cancer from the tanning beds.

  7. if you are really pale you will most likely burn at first..
